How Adventures in Wisdom Cut CPA 52% and Doubled Application Volume with Meta Ads
An education and coaching brand was paying $256 per application with no scalable structure. We rebuilt the system and drove 90 applications at $123 CPA within 8 months.
High CPA with No Scalable Structure
Adventures in Wisdom (AIW) is an education and coaching brand that uses Meta Ads to drive application volume for its programs and webinars. Before our involvement, AIW was generating applications — but at a high and unstable CPA. In January 2025, they spent $10,503 for just 41 applications at a $256 CPA. February wasn't much better: $8,083 for 42 applications at $192.
The core challenge was clear: they needed more volume without paying $200-$250 per application. And their existing structure collapsed every time they tried to increase spend.
Tightening the System, Not Throwing Budget at It
We focused on building a repeatable testing and scaling framework rather than simply increasing spend. We launched and tested multiple campaign angles to identify what actually produced scalable application volume. We used performance data to make strategic spend shifts — what to scale, what to cap, what to cut.
A key breakthrough was developing new audience segments, including a strong 'Retirement' segment that became a top performer. We also provided feedback on ad copy and creative formatting to improve clarity, hooks, and conversion alignment. In May, performance improved without launching any new creatives — proving the account wasn't reliant on constant creative churn.
Steady Improvement from March to October
After taking over in March 2025, we steadily improved efficiency and scaled volume, culminating in October's peak performance.
CPA Reduction While Doubling Volume
Cut CPA approximately 45-52% while scaling application volume 117-120% from the January-February baseline to the October peak. Spend increased only ~19% while more than doubling applications — proving that systematic optimization outperforms simply increasing budget.
