Monitoring Google Ads Experiments

Review search terms with click-through rates over 100% and at least 2 impressions. Block these keywords with exact match negative keywords if they don’t align with services.

Objective:

To effectively monitor currently running experiments in Google Ads and apply successful results to the original campaign.

Key Steps:

  1. Go to Google Ads and navigate to “All Campaigns”.
  2. Click on “Experiments” to view all currently running experiments.
  3. Monitor the data displayed for each experiment, ensuring that green arrows indicate positive performance.
  4. If satisfied with the results of an experiment, click on the “Apply” button.
  5. Select “Update the original campaign” and click “Apply” to implement the experiment results to the original campaign.

Cautionary Notes:

  • Pay attention to the direction of the arrows next to the data (green arrow: positive sign, red arrow: negative sign).
  • Ensure that the experiment results align with the goals of the original campaign before applying them.
